Watch This BLADE RUNNER 2049 Trailer Tease

A new teaser for "Blade Runner 2049" has arrived for viewing pleasure, AceShowbiz reports.

Warner Bros. has revealed a teaser today in anticipation of the full trailer for Blade Runner 2049 that will be revealed on Monday.

As much as we usually loathe trailers for trailers, this one we'll abide because we're just that curious (and hoping very hard that this isn't a hot mess).

We also see scenes with Gosling, who plays K, an LAPD officer and blade runner. "Discover his future", Ford's poster is labeled that features the star as Rick Deckard from the original 1982 "Blade Runner" film as he stands in front of a broken statue in the middle of an orange desert. The shot of Ryan Gosling with a blood-soaked head is reminiscent of the rooftop scene between Deckard and Roy Batty at the end of the first film and the opening scene on the streets feels as real as a walk home in the dark in any busy city. While the imagery certainly mirrors the original Ridley Scott film, director Denis Villeneuve looks to be working with a color palette that is both depressing and striking at the same time.

The film also stars Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Mackenzie Davis, Barkhad Abdi, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian and Hiam Abbass. The movies are based on Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep".

In the first movie poster, we can see Gosling on his travels through the mist, trying to find Ford.

With the inclusion of giant Atari logos, it's safe to say that Blade Runner 2049 is taking place in an entirely alternative reality.
