Where is the Europa League final?

Arsene Wenger refused to claim a personal victory over Jose Mourinho after Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirates on Sunday, praising his team for their response to the disappointing loss at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 54-year-old, with Thursday's second leg against Celta Vigo in mind, made eight changes from the side that won in Spain against Arsenal.

Mourinho has prioritized winning the UEFA Europa League over finishing in the English Premier League top four at the end of the season.

Wenger - who needs teams above Arsenal to slip up if he is to secure a 21st consecutive season of Champions League football for the club - played down the significance of a first competitive win over Mourinho.

"It is good to have the opportunity to play - the manager gives you a job and you have to show he can trust you for future games".

"It is the first time I've left Highbury or the Emirates and they are happy".

"I liked very, very much individual performances and I liked [them] collectively", Mourinho said. Now I'm back and I hope to finish the season in great shape, celebrating a European title and winning the remaining games in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho has always been second or first in terms of goal scoring.

In further digs, Mourinho accused Wenger - misleadingly - of playing with a "defensive block" and "a line of five defenders". I really don't care about it [the record against Wenger].

Mourinho insisted United were unlucky as he also said their top four hopes were over. We had just one blip and I think it was a bit physical.

"Mathematically, it is still possible, but now, we need some help from the teams around us", he said. I'm happy for Danny as well.

"It is the first time I saw them [the Arsenal fans] smile, I saw them enjoy [it] and they deserve [it] because they are an incredible club and wonderful fans [who] also deserve some joy". "We couldn't afford to lose".

"We needed to be patient".

Liverpool are third in the table on 70 points, a point clear of fourth-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

"We'll see. I don't know [whether he will feature on Wednesday]".
