Jodie Whittaker's 'Doctor Who' Costume Has Been Revealed

Take a look at the first look of Whittaker below. She has a long jacket (hello, David Tennant); high-waisted trousers (very Patrick Troughten); suspenders (mighty Matt Smith); and a set of stripes across her shirt that could be a subtle tribute to Tom Baker's iconic long scarf.
Doctor Who Series 10, which wrapped up this summer, marked the third and final series starring Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. This is a really exciting time and Doctor Who represents everything that's exciting about change.
"It's more than an honour to play the Doctor", she told the BBC back in July.
Already fans have begun to discuss the look and there appears to be references to previous incarnations of the Time Lord in her outfit.
So we are beside ourselves to see what Jodie Whittaker will be wearing in the Tardis. And we kind of love her costume - her trench coat and rainbow shirt give us sort of a Tom Baker vibe.
It shows the Doctor dressed in a long coat, striped T-Shirt and high-waisted pants.
And damn, Jodie Whittaker looks cool.
I honestly can't stop staring at the photo: She looks like she's about to step out of whatever magical hilltop she's on and into my office, hopefully to become my new best friend.
On Thursday, the BBC unveiled new star Jodie Whittaker's costume as the beloved Time Lord in advance of an expected fall 2018 debut for the show's 11th season (in the modern era).
She will be joined in the cast by Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill and Sharon D Clarke.
