Nel-Peters dedicates Miss Universe win to South Africa

The South African beauty queen beat over 90 contestants from around the globe to take the title‚ making her only the second South African to ever win the crown.
And the 22-year-old credited it all to her confidence.
The new Miss Universe, during an interview question at the pageant, revealed her disabled half-sister inspires her and she is her most significant motivator.
Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters didn't shy away when asked to comment on sexual harassment just after being crowned.
Nel-Peters, who recently earned a business management degree, was crowned during the event at The AXIS theater at Planet Hollywood casino-resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
Miss Jamaica was crowned second-runner up, while Miss Colombia secured the first-runner up spot.
Ninety-two women from around the world participated in the competition. Like each year, the sparkling silver and blue gem encrusted crown was passed on to the new Miss Universe by last year's victor Miss France Iris Mittenaere.
However Miss Universe seems to have another tradition emerging-that the outgoing victor dons a certain Dubai-based designer.
American TV host Steve Harvey wasn't scared to poke fun at his infamous gaffe in 2015, when he famously announced the wrong person as Miss Universe.
