Ocean's 8 Looks Good As Hell

Studios Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow released the first image from Ocean's 8 back in January, revealing the assembled primary cast riding on a (conspicuously empty) New York City subway vehicle.

The trailer for Ocean's 8 is out and it looks awesome. Her first stop is to assemble the ideal crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson). Watch the new trailer above. The highly-anticipated clip shows how Debbie Ocean (played by Sandra Bullock) orchestrates her team of eight for a major Met Ball heist.

Sandra Bullock stars as Debbie, who is apparently the estranged sister of Danny Ocean, the character played by George Clooney in the first three movies. Squeezed between clips of Hathaway slapping someone and Rihanna's Nine Ball looking confused is a shot of Debbie sipping a martini next to the marble grave of her brother. We'll just have to wait and see.

"How long if I told you you didn't have to live with your mother anymore?"

The movie also stars James Corden, Richard Armitage, and Dakota Fanning.

Director Gary Ross ("Pleasantville", "The Hunger Games") has assembled top names from the worlds of film, TV, and music, and they're so decorated that the film has basically already won EGOT months before its summer 2018 release. Matt Damon and Carl Reiner reprise their original roles in the Ocean's franchise as Linus Caldwell and Saul Bloom, respectively.
