Bengals Expected To Lose DC Paul Guenther To Jon Gruden's Raiders Staff

There was a Super Bowl trip the following season when Oakland lost to Gruden's Buccaneers and another playoff appearance in 2016 under Jack Del Rio that garnered little optimism because quarterback Derek Carr was injured.

While the Raiders are widely expected to name Gruden their next head coach as early as next week, neither Gruden nor the team has confirmed those reports.

According to Jim Trotter of ESPN, the Packers requested an interview with Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, but McKenzie declined.

This time it is really happening, and Raiders fans should be excited. Oakland went 2-14 in his one season before Davis fired him a second time.
