In this week's edition of "Y'all's President", Donald Trump made an appearance at the NCAA college football championship in Atlanta Monday (Jan. 9).
Players for Alabama and Georgia were nowhere to be seen as the anthem was played, prompting some to wonder if they'd been kept in the locker rooms to avoid an unsightly protest in front of Trump.
US President Donald Trump struggling with the words to the national anthem, which he praised so much, seems to provoke a spate of comments ridiculing the president.
Video of the anthem shows Mr Trump getting off to a slow start. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star.to President of the United States (on my first try).
The Flag Code covers aspects of etiquette when the anthem is played in some detail.
"There's plenty of space for people to express their views and to protest, but we love our flag and we love our anthem, and we want to keep it that way", he said.
Trump stood on the field during the pre-game festivities, and during the Anthem, he placed his hand over his heart and sang along to some - but not all - of the song.
The code adds that military personnel and veterans should salute throughout the anthem.
The majority of Americans - 61 percent - do not know all the words to the "The Star-Spangled Banner", according to a Harris Interactive survey.
Earlier in the day, Mr Trump had lectured on the importance of the national anthem during a speech in Nashville.
The White House has vehemently denied these claims, and the president took to Twitter to personally defend his mental health in a string of now infamous tweets. Either way, a lot of people are harshly criticizing the President in light of recent comments he made by calling on National Football League owners to suspend players who disrespect the flag by kneeling during the anthem.
He said the practice was "ruining the game", and that players who kneel should be immediately fired.
