Sunshine Today, A Little Snow Tomorrow

Another weather system will bring the chance for rain and snow showers to Delmarva for the second part of the day on Sunday. Temperatures will fall into the 30s, but should stay above freezing. Less than an inch will accumulate today, but around an inch or so could be on the ground by daybreak Thursday as the scattered snow could last through the night.

While some areas saw the snow stop and other areas kept some snow going all day today, this was generally a very light snow with little accumulation.

On Monday, the rain and snow showers will continue to be scattered throughout the morning and day time. The north country will be on the fringe of a coastal storm that's expected to dump snow to our south and east. With a cooler pattern a few systems are to be monitored for potential snow chances. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Highs will be in the 30s to near 40.

Cloudy Thursday night, with lows in the mid 20s (-4 degrees Celsius).

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 57. The rain chances will continue for the rest of the weekend and the wind will pick up on Sunday with a passing system.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low-40s.

Mostly cloudy on Friday...hopefully we'll get partial sunshine by afternoon.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Last night's snow was a hard forecast, but ended up coming close to what was expected.
