There's no limit to how many items you can buy, provided you can afford it.
It didn't take long for all of these Vending Machines to be found, with the awesome folks over at Fortnite Intel doing just that, and putting together a map with the exact location of each. The vending machines will dispense weapons randomly, not just in terms of what weapon it is, but what rarity it is, so there's a chance of you getting a really good weapon with the press of a button. After first being discovered through datamining, vending machines have been added to Battle Royale, offering players random deals and items when found.
It's likely that Epic Games will now make them more common to help players complete the challenge.
The addition of Vending Machines to Fortnite follows the game's most recent update, which saw the inclusion of devastating new weaponry like guided missiles, new battle modes, graphical updates and bug fixes.
Fortnite's iconic island is now dotted with vending machines, which will give you all kinds of guns and goodies in exchange for building resources. The vending machine will display one at a time and slowly rotate through them.
Items found in a Rare (blue) version will cost 300 materials. In order to purchase what one wants, he could either wait for it to show up, or he could hit the Vending Machine with his pickaxe to skip to the next of the three items.
Higher tiers will require more materials, with Epic tier weapons, for example, costing a staggering 500 materials.
We'll update you as soon as Epic Games works on a further patch to make things right with the last one. Can you find them all?
