"At the moment I focus on doing my job well".

Wenger had a unique approach to training sessions and also took steps to change the drinking culture that afflicted Arsenal.

"The Premier League is like a piranha club but the most important thing for me is to build for the future", he told PA Sport. "I want to work well here until the last day of my contract and then (I will) rest a little bit and think about where I will go from there". My brain demands work and is active.

Allegri is believed to be on Arsenal's wish list as a potential successor to Arsene Wenger, but Marotta stressed that Juventus continue to maintain a good rapport with their coach. "I don't know yet".

France defender Laurent Koscielny will miss the World Cup and faces six months out after undergoing surgery on an Achilles tendon injury he suffered in Arsenal's Europa League defeat at Atletico Madrid, his club manager Arsene Wenger said on Tuesday.

"The earlier the better, people want hope and need to prepare for next season", he said.

"The team was turned inside out during the first season and the club worked so well to bring in players of quality, who had not just fantastic technical skill sets but great human values".
