Juventus defeated AC Milan and won the Italian Cup

Juventus are on the verge of winning their seventh straight Serie A title. "Now we have to ensure the Scudetto mathematically and enjoy this extraordinary season".

Centre-back Medhi Benatia scored twice for Juve, heading in the opener in the 56th minute from Paulo Dybala's cross.

"I'm also sorry if anyone who isn't a sportsman and has never tried to stay in a group doesn't know how many sacrifices, how much energy, how much tenacity and how much damnation it takes to win like we have".

"Today I feel this incredible pressure on me, as if the fans were on my shoulders", said the 40-year-old. He added: "Now we have two games against sides who are in better shape than us and must try to get into the Europa League with better performances than this".

But as Buffon kept his net clean Donnarumma finished the night in tears after a game to forget. I am learning. I make mistakes and have to figure out where we have gone wrong to improve.

But there was controversy before the break when Hakan Calhanoglu was brought down only for the referee to blow the whistle for the break without letting Milan take the free kick.

The Coppa Italia switched to a single final format in the 1971-72 season and Juve played Milan at the Stadio Olimpico in 1973.

Five minutes later, Donnarumma allowed a low shot from Costa to slip through his hands and into the net and the hapless goalkeeper then failed to hold a header, allowing Benatia to snap up the rebound.

Kalinic, who came on as a sub for Cutrone, only made things worse for Milan with an own goal from Pjanic's corner kick from the left and was headed in by the Croatian who was standing at the near post.

"The coach has given me a lot of confidence, not only me but the entire team", said Bonaventura. A little triumph will mean Asamoah will be winning his sixth Italian serie A title. The Old Lady lured us in to believing in a title race for the second week in a row, as they fell behind at home to Bologna.
