He will get a 6.1-inch LCD screen, lowest price among the three releases and only the main camera, but with advanced image processing algorithms, as in the iPhone XS.
The company has apparently changed the name several times during planning, with the "iPhone Xs" being a contender. Finally, the iPhone X's replacement will be a 5.8-inch OLED model with a faster processor and improved camera.
Another will be a "high-end" large phone that's about the size of the iPhone 8 Plus but with an edge-to-edge screen measuring 6.5 inches.
Overall, these phones are being described as smaller updates to last year's hardware, compared to the major departure that the iPhone X represented. This handset will have a glass back, stainless steel edges, and the ability to show two apps side by side in split-screen. Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller declined to comment. According to the latest reports, Apple Watch 3 with LTE connectivity is the most popular smartwatch out there.
In addition to bringing support for Apple Podcasts, the software also boasts a new Walkie-Talkie functionality that will allow friends and family to communicate with each other easier than ever with the flick of their wrist.
All models will share some features that were introduced on the iPhone X: edge-to-edge displays, gesture control instead of the traditional home button, and Face ID.
Anticipation continues to build for Apple Inc's (NASDAQ:AAPL) upcoming launch of the new iPhone lineup. The strategy flopped with iPhone users preferring Apple's metal phones. The iPhone maker reported $2.34 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, beating the Zacks' consensus estimate of $2.18 by $0.16.
He also predicts that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will ship in both single- and dual-SIM variants, depending on the region. The feature will make it easier to switch between carriers when country hopping.
Large bets will be made on a smartphone or iPhone 9 N84.
Experts believe the lack of interest in the phone is largely due to the notch, which many potential Chinese customers believe removes too much space on the screen.
Apple could remove 3D touch from future iPhone models according to Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis and his associates who cite sources in Asia who claim it is "widely understood" that the technology will be removed from Apple's iPhone line in 2019.
