Omarosa's Lara Trump Tape, "An Attempt to Censor Me"

In the recording, Lara Trump offers Newman $15,000 a month because she's "articulate" and "she'd be awesome" at being a surrogate for the president.

Manigault Newman told MSNBC she saw it as an attempt to "buy my silence, to censor me" and claimed it is more proof that what she details in her new book, "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House", is accurate.

"It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you've got in the back pocket to pull out".

In the audio, purportedly recorded a few days after Manigault-Newman was sacked from the White House, Trump can be heard referring to a New York Times article suggesting had damaging information on the president.

Manigault-Newman interrupted her and said, "Oh, God no", to which Trump said, "Everything, everybody positive, right?"

"She made it very clear that if I joined this campaign, I'd have to be quiet", Manigault Newman told MSNBC's Craig Melvin on Thursday, referring to her conversation with Lara Trump.

Mrs. Trump said in her statement that the Trump 2020 campaign reached out due to their relationship with Ms. Manigault Newman and that the discussions about her role were stretched out over a week.

According to Ms. Manigault Newman, Mrs. Trump's offer came on behalf of the president himself.

Meyers joked that after all of President Trump's scandals the former reality star would be the one to take him down.

Getty Omarosa released the latest of her audio recordings that she captured in the White House today, and this one featured Lara Trump.

Trump's former highest-ranking African-American aide characterized the offer as hush money.

Earlier this week, Newman shared audio of Trump associates discussing how they would handle the fallout if a recording of Trump using the n-word, as Newman has insisted exists, finds its way to the public ear. "I just want to let her know that".

The first instance, said Clyburn, was when black U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., accused Trump of being insensitive to the widow of a soldier killed in a 2017 ambush in Niger.

Instead, she wrote that her family "was concerned" about Manigault Newman after her firing by White House chief of staff John Kelly "because we had no idea about the basis of her dismissal". I think you'd be awesome doing that.

"The person who could end up taking down the President of the United Stated is Omarosa".

Lara Trump said she "formed a sisterhood bond that is unlike any I have experienced in my life" with Manigault Newman.

"You have to have your own back, because otherwise you'll look back and see 17 knives in your back", Manigault Newman said. I'd love to know where it is.
