Brand new Pixel 3 accessory uncovered in latest version of Google app

But, both phones will be keeping the fingerprint sensor on the back.

We're fully expecting the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL to be announced at the event, considering it was this time past year that Google announced the Pixel 2 smartphones. According to 9to5Mac, the smaller Pixel 3 has slim bezels around the display, front facing speakers, and two front-facing cameras.

That being said, some live images of the Pixel 3 XL (attached above) have also surfaced online. This should put an end to the conspiracy theories revolving around the presence of notch on the Pixel 3 XL.

Agarwal says his sources have told him the Pixel 3 XL features a "frosted" glass back and plastic sides (or perhaps metal with some kind of coating). At the rear, a single rear camera is also visible.

The commercial does not show the device's front design entirely. The handset has a prominent notch - which stores the dual-lens camera modules, speaker and seonsors - on the topmost area of the display.

Google will kick off Pixel 3 preorders soon after that October 9th launch event, and it's likely the Pixel 3 phones will be available in a bunch of markets in addition to America. It will also have a larger (compared to Pixel 2) 5.5-inch display, but the extra tall aspect ratio will ensure the smartphone's fairly easy to use with one hand. This is just a listing ahead of the launch and should be taken with a pinch of salt. The same goes for the extra-beefy notch on the Pixel 3 XL.

Other expected specs include a Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU.

It is said to backed by a 3430mAh battery, which will support fast charging, and wireless charging. The phone will reportedly come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and will run on the Android 9.0 Pie. Furthermore, the renders mention the presence of dual selfie cameras in both the phones.
