Kawhi Leonard debuts unusual laugh, sidestep at Raptors intro

"If you're looking toward the future you're going to trip over the present".

As a Raptors fan, it's disappointing, I don't mind the team going with black-gold as an alternate colour scheme but once again, the team does not have a uniform with the name of their hometown on it.

Limited to just nine games in the 2017-18 season by a leg injury, Leonard said he's fully healthy and ready to open training camp Tuesday in Burnaby, B.C.

Asked his reaction to coming to Toronto, Leonard said, "Excited".

Asked to tell a little bit about himself, he said, "I'm a fun guy".

Leonard, who is a free agent after this season, didn't offer any hints about whether he will be a Raptor past this season.

"I love what I've seen so far", Nurse said.

Sharing a podium with Raptors president Masai Ujiri, who pulled the trigger on the trade that included acquiring forward Danny Green and losing DeMar DeRozan, Leonard addressed the biggest question about him: His health. I want to do great things, so I want to put my everything on the court.

During his six seasons in San Antonio, Leonard was a two-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year, in addition to winning an NBA championship and NBA Finals MVP in 2014.

DeRozan says "everybody looks at me and Kyle's relationship, but me and Kyle's relationship wouldn't have started if it hadn't been for Rudy". I think that's old and we should move past that. "But I want to focus on this team, this journey that we have in front of us today, and just stay in the present time, and not look back".

"Obviously I love the game of basketball".
