Stephen Curry involved in vehicle wreck in California

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was not injured when he was involved in a multicar accident on a California highway Friday morning.

The crash occurred on Westbound Highway 24 shortly after 9 a.m.as a vehicle exiting the Caldecott tunnel spun out.

'We'd like to remind everyone to wear their seat belts and slow down, ' the spokesman said.

There were no reports of injuries for the three drivers involved.


Officials said DUI was not suspected in either crash and no arrests were made, but CHP implied the drivers should have been more careful in wet conditions. Curry has missed the past seven games with the issue, and is expected to be out until at least Monday.

Curry's representatives did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's inquiries on Friday afternoon.

Nothing is going right for the Warriors right now, but they avoided a potential disaster Friday morning.

Curry is now sidelined with a groin injury.
