If Hunt is placed on the commissioner's exempt list, he wouldn't be able to play during that time. The Chiefs, 9-2, are sitting atop the AFC heading into Sunday's matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

As for the video, the entire incident took place in the early morning hours of February 10.

Though the incident was reported in February and the police were called, Hunt was not arrested and no charges were filed because authorities could not determine if a crime had taken place.

It should be noted that Hunt was also involved in a separate incident in June at a resort in OH where he allegedly punched a man.

Earlier this offseason, Kareem Hunt and another woman filed cross-complaints accusing one another of assault after a physical altercation broke out in Cleveland, Ohio. However, Hunt's friends told police that the woman went off when she was asked to leave and called Kareem the n-word. He shoves another male into the woman, who then falls down and appears to grab her head. The police report said Ottinger suffered abrasions to her knee and hand and a scratch on her chest. At that point, Hunt came out of his apartment and "shoved and pushed" the woman, which is where the video picks up.

Hunt said coach Andy Reid told him, "Just move forward and focus on football".

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt also addressed the player's character at that time.
