Packers' QB Rodgers leaves with head injury vs. Lions

The NFL's schedule rotation pits each division against another NFC and AFC division each season. The Packers seem interested in giving him the chance to do so in Green Bay.

The Packers entered the game as 8-point favorites. Stafford was 20 of 32, while rookie Brandon Powell had six catches for 103 yards. He eventually was shown walking to the team's locker room with Dr. John Gray, one of the Packers' team physicians - also a sign that Rodgers was being evaluated for a concussion.

Detroit scored again as time wound down until intermission on a 13-yard gallop by Zach Zenner with 1:06 showing on the clock. The Saints have clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs, so depending on their fate in the postseason, the Packers would also have a pick between 28 and 32 in the opening round.

The Packers quarterback left Sunday's game against the Lions in the second quarter after suffering a head injury and was replaced by backup DeShone Kizer.

Rodgers finishes the 2018 season with 372 completions for 4,442 yards, 25 touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Lions scored a third touchdown in near the end of the second quarter, bringing the score to 21-0.

T.J. Jones then hauled in his second scoring pass of the game, a 23-yarder with 6:53 to play for a 31-0 Detroit advantage.
