Sarri 'really angry' at Chelsea approach to Arsenal defeat

Former Real Madrid and Napoli forward Higuain has had a hard season in Milan since moving from Juventus to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Riccio told Gazzetta: "As for the transfer market we are all grown-ups, we know how to deal with these situations".

Genoa ace Krzysztof Piatek has been mentioned as a replacement and Gattuso said: "Piatek has some very specific characteristics".

He will join the Blues on a loan deal, before signing on a permanent deal in the summer.

Gennaro Gattuso a dropped a massive hint that Higuain had played his final match for the club after dropping the Argentine from his squad for Milan's 2-0 victory over Genoa.

"It has been in the air for a few days".

"Right now we have to work with professionalism and determination, all these rumours have not helped us lately and we have to look ahead".

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri's focus is exclusively on today's Premier League visit to Arsenal and not moves in the January transfer window, despite the increasing possibility the club will be adding Gonzalo Higuain to their ranks.

Higuain scored a Serie A record of 36 goals for Napoli in the 2015-2016 season.

Maurizio Sarri was left furious with his Chelsea players after they were comfortably beaten by Arsenal in this evening's high profile game at the Emirates.

"I have to say that I'm extremely angry, very angry indeed".

According to Metro report citing Sky Sport Italia, Sarri, who was keen on having Higuain play against Arsenal on Saturday assured the 31-year-old that the deal will be sealed in the coming week. In my career I've frustrated all my managers, and now I'm frustrating Sarri. Atletico Madrid will have the option to buy Morata at season's end. Maurizio Sarri criticised his players' mentality following the game, but the personnel are as much the problem as anything else.

Morata has nine goals so far this season - one more than Higuain has managed at Milan - but has cut a forlorn figure at times since his £60m move from Real Madrid in July 2017.
