As seen in last night's special look, we witnessed Jude Law's Starforce Commander putting Brie Larson's Carol Danvers into heavy, intense training as well as her grueling military training on Earth. There, she meets Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury - a young, two-eyed, eyepatch-less Nick that the Captain Marvel digital effects team created by de-aging Jackson in post-production.
Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel will open in USA theaters on March 8, 2019. After all, there's a reason why Fury waited for decades to ask her for help.
According to the movie's official synopsis: "Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races". Brie Larson, who plays Carol Danvers, is also being sited as the top actress for this year.
There will be no shortage of action sequences in Marvel Studios' "Captain Marvel" when it lands in theaters March 8. Both Fandango and Atom Tickets conducted a survey amongst moviegoers, with Captain Marvel only coming in behind Avengers: Endgame as the most anticipated movie of 2019.
"You think you can find others?" "And for a lot of the movie, this is a two-hander between Captain Marvel and Nick Fury-and a version of Nick Fury we haven't seen before, which is super exciting". "Things are changing. The world is changing for him-[especially] how he views it in terms of who we are in respect to the rest of the galaxy", Jackson said. It's perfectly reasonable for a somebody to mix up the superpowers of the one billionth hero to show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Looking beyond the scope of the film itself, Captain Marvel is set to launch only a few weeks ahead of Avengers: Endgame - so going hard with the funnies is important to balance out the heartbreak that's to come in the fourth Avengers film.
