Apex Legends Hits Another Milestone With 10 Million Players In 3 Days

Set in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale shooter available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Apex Legends has been given an ESRB Rating of T for Teens, which means the game is mainly made for those who are 13-years-old or older.

If that wasn't impressed enough, Respawn's Vince Zampella also confirmed that the game has notched up one million concurrent players. For example, in most of the battle royale games, teammates can revive each other when knocked out.

EA launched two big titles previous year, Battlefield V and the mobile game Command & Conquer Rivals.

While I don't have more to share with the particulars of what we have coming from Titanfall, Respawn are a tremendously creative team. And when you look at the game and I was watching being streamed early today, that's mesmerizing to watch.

Apex Legends does not have Titans, or the wall-running and double-jumping mobility options that you'd expect from a Titanfall game - after all, there's a reason it doesn't say Titanfall in the title.

"If you're having trouble seeing your friends online or sending invites on Origin, we're looking into it, and we'll let you know when we have more info", the EA Support message reads.

As cross-play becomes more prevalent, it will likely be a more utilized feature.

Does Apex Legends plan to offer cross-play in the future? When you get there, you'll find their loot box. You'll also see them appearing as shafts of light, projected from the ground into the sky (if you're carrying any respawn tags). The game is fantastic but 6 heroes to choose from with 2 that can be purchased through microtransactions (Thanks EA) seems a bit low especially considering that there may actually be a ideal team composition.
