Ariana Grande Pulls Out Of 2019 Grammy Awards

"The producers were dictating what songs she could sing", the source said.

'I've kept my mouth shut but now you're lying about me.

Ariana Grande has reportedly turned down the chance to perform at the GRAMMYs, following a dispute with producers of the show.

'It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend.

The last-minute withdrawal has come so late that billboards are still up around Los Angeles advertising her attendance. In all, she's been nominated six times for a Grammy but hasn't won.

She finished by writing: 'Hope that helps everyone understand my decision.

Ariana and the Recording Academy have yet to confirm this report, and HollywoodLife has reached out to both for comment. 'And it's too bad. However, the 'Thank U, Next!' singer has a great 2019 lined up for her fans in terms of her music. "And I'd love to get her in the show this year".

With just a three days left for the annual Grammy Awards to take place, singer Ariana Grande yesterday pulled out of the show after the producers and she sparred over which songs she would perform at the gala, reported Variety.

But there was yet another disagreement when the producers insisted that they would be able to choose the second song of the medley. The source added that such stipulations were not imposed on other performers at the show.

In the past two years Grande has experienced two major tragedies - the 2017 bombing outside her concert at the UK's Manchester Arena in which 22 people died, and the drug-overdose death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller last September.

Variety says they instead, 'offered her a spot during the show's Tom Petty tribute'.
