‘Racist, Lying, Criminal’ Trump to Be Accused by Former Lawyer Michael Cohen

Such testimony would mark the first time Cohen accused Trump of criminal conduct while serving as president.

White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders said in a statement Tuesday it was "laughable that anyone would take a convicted liar like Cohen at his word, and pathetic to see him given yet another opportunity to spread his lies".

Cohen is now scheduled to appear before Congress tomorrow and it's set to be the first time he accuses Trump of committing a crime while in office.

On "Fox & Friends" Tuesday, Napolitano, Fox News' senior judicial analyst, suggested it's not coincidental that Cohen's several hearings - particularly Wednesday's public hearing - overlap with Trump's trip to Vietnam.

Cohen was on Capitol Hill Tuesday, testifying privately before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Florida Republican Representative Matt Gaetz alleged that former Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen had secret girlfriends that the congressman threatened to reveal ahead of Cohen's scheduled public testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

The committee's biggest message to Cohen, who formerly acted as the RNC's deputy finance chairman: "Have fun in prison!"

As a close confidant of Trump for many years, Cohen's testimony is among the most anticipated since the House and Senate started investigating the Trump campaign's Russian Federation ties two years ago.

That will put off-limits questions about "any financial or other compromise or leverage foreign actors may possess over Donald Trump, his family, his business interests, or his associates", the committee said.

Lawmakers want to know why President Trump's former personal attorney lied about the timing of talks about a Trump Tower real estate project in Moscow; Catherine Herridge reports. Trump's former fixer intends to tell lawmakers about "hush" payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels during the election, the network reported - payments that prosecutors already have said in court filings were directed by a person known to be Trump.

Cohen's lawyer Lanny Davis recently told ABC News that his client would detail "personal, front-line experiences" of incidents and conduct by Trump that even hardened listeners would find "chilling".

He will also provide evidence of "lies, racism, and cheating" by Trump, the Journal reported its source as saying.

The Wall Street Journal reported a person familiar with the matter as saying Cohen would provide "evidence of criminal conduct since Mr Trump became president" that involved a hush money payment to hide an alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

He is expected to offer financial documents showing possible tax fraud by Mr Trump, which may spur lawmakers to renew demands for the president's tax returns.
