‘Borderlands 3’s Official Trailer Confirms More Than One Billion Guns

Just minutes ago at PAX East 2019, Gearbox Software finally pulled the curtain back on Borderlands 3, but that's not the only big Borderlands reveal they had under their belt.

It's all very silly of course, down to the trailer's surprise sax solo and literally formulaic finale, but what else would one feasibly expect the first taste of a Borderlands game to look like?

2K Games and Gearbox have officially announced Borderlands 3.

In addition, we see Tales from the Borderlands' Rhys, who is serving some Handsome Jack realness alongside Borderlands 2's deadly ninja assassin Zer0. Aside from a Borderlands 3 release date and gameplay, we may see previous entries hitting PS4, Xbox One, and perhaps Nintendo Switch. Some of them felt this to be a hint that Borderlands 3 on PC would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and asked Pitchford if this was the case.

That said, in spite of some new changes to environments and vehicles, the game still looks like the same old Borderlands in terms of gameplay. The developer will be streaming from PAX East in Boston today at 11 am PT/6 pm GMT.

The panel, which was packed with "Borderlands"-related news, most notably showed off the first footage of the highly anticipated sequel to 2012's "Borderlands 2" which will feature more than a billion guns, some of which can walk". Each of the four available characters has five brand new cosmetic heads unlocked and equippable right from the start of the game.
