This means any new or existing user will save $5.99 a month on their Hulu subscription.
Spotify on Tuesday announced that all premium subscribers in the USA - those who pay $9.99 per month for its service - are eligible to receive Hulu's ad-supported tier free of charge. The same $9.99 that usually just gets Spotify Premium will also get access to the ad-supported Hulu membership tier.
The catch is that Spotify customers must move to claim their free Hulu account before June 10.
New Spotify Premium subscribers, meanwhile, are also eligible. Those who pay $9.99 a month for the service can now enjoy access to Hulu - on top of tens of millions of music tracks. Now the new bundle reduces pricing back to Premium's original $9.99/month, and effectively makes Hulu free.
Spotify has faced increasing competition from rival music streaming services in recent years.
The company previously offered Hulu to Spotify Premium customers for an additional $3 every month, and it's now making Hulu completely free for Spotify Premium users.
Can Spotify Family subscribers sign up for the Hulu Bundle?
Once you get it set up, just go to the Hulu app or hulu.com to start streaming shows like Fargo, The Handmaid's Tale, Seinfeld, and more. USA streams of Bruce Springsteen's "Hungry Heart" and the Dusty Springfield classic "I Only Want to Be with You" rose 86 percent and 127 percent, respectively, the week after the songs were played in season 2 episodes last summer.
Spotify and Hulu have today launched a new deal to offer the ultimate television and music streaming experience. Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work" surged a whopping 433 percent after it was featured in episode 1 of the second season.
