Police investigate break-in at Brendan Rodgers' home in Glasgow

The Foxes looked to be heading towards a point to get the former Celtic boss up and running in his reign at the King Power Stadium, but it was not to be as they conceded late on to lose 2-1.

Rodger lost his first game in charge of Leicester at the weekend, being beaten at Watford. "But the type of game I have always promoted, they need to have some comfort on the ball at the back, and he can step in, make passes, so he's a big talent".

"I wouldn't say I was disappointed that Brendan has gone", Burke said.

"I knew, coming away, the improvements made will hopefully allow that success to continue".

Rodgers abandoned his post at Parkhead to replace Claude Puel at Leicester City last week, making a return to the Premier League following a three-and-a-half year absence since his sacking by Liverpool back in October 2015. "What Leicester achieved was an incredible story, it's one of the most incredible sporting stories".

"After a couple of years of instability and sitting mid-table, their objective is to move up".

"I want to come next season, I want to be a champion in Scotland. We've left the club in a really good position, eight points clear".

"We are enjoying the season".

McManus also indicated Rodgers will be able to operate with more backing in the transfer market at Leicester. I still feel I can learn a lot from the new manager and I'm looking forward to working under him.

Mark Wilson claims Kieran Tierney could be tempted by a bigger challenge down the line after Brendan Rodgers moved to the EPL.

With Brendan Rodgers at the helm, Leicester are not going to revert to the counter-attacking football that won them the Premier League.
