Prime Subscribers Get a Year of Nintendo Switch Online for Free

Twitch announced a special promotion with Nintendo in partnership with its Twitch Prime subscription service on March 28, offering up to 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online for free. This, unsurprisingly, signs up you up for auto renewal, so that's something to keep in mind - at the end of your free year, Nintendo will automatically renew your subscription for another year. Once you're in, it'll bring up the Nintendo Switch Online Membership Status, so just click Next and then hit Redeem. For those able to jump on the first offer, they will be eligible for the second 9-month offer after 60 days if they remain an active Prime member. This offer can only be claimed once per each Twitch Prime and Nintendo Account.

The offer is worth $20 and is available for download from Amazon through Twitch Prime.

Luckily, this offer is available until September 24 of this year, so you definitely have some time to set-up your Amazon Prime and Twitch Prime account if needed.

To avoid this, head into the eShop on your Switch, scroll down to "Nintendo Switch Online" in the left sidebar, then select your account icon in the upper right-hand corner. First, you are allowed to claim three months of Nintendo Switch Online. The nine-month extension must be claimed by January 22.

Twitch Prime is included with all Amazon Prime memberships - visit the Twitch Prime page to link your Amazon and Twitch accounts to get started. All you have to do is be an Amazon Prime member and for the next 12 months you'll have full access to some of the most unbelievable games and content available right now.
